The Unwritten Road

     The weather is getting warmer, and days are getting longer. This all means one thing SUMMER. Here is a quick and easy summer DIY that you can use to decorate your living space or your outdoors area.

What you need
- styrofoam balls
- paint (colors of your choice)
- paint brush
- string
- scissors
- string
- paper
- hot glue gun

Step One

    You will need styrofoam balls, paint and paint brush. What you want to do first is to paint your styrofoam balls and leave them to dry. Mine needed 2 coats so they would be vibrant and not extremely streaky.



Step Two

     I found a cone template online, I just google it. Or you can do ahead and make your own. SO just print out and cut the cone template and glue to together.

Step Three

    You will need your painted styrofoam balls, cones and glue gun. You want to attach the cone to the styrofoam balls. I found it easiest when I put glue on the inside rim of the cone and placed the styrofoam ball inside.


Step Four

      The last and final step. All you need is your snow cones from step 3, string, scissors and glue gun. Firstly cut the string the length you want your garland to be. Then glue the snow cone onto the sting with the glue gun.

  Add a bit of color to your room or garden with this quick and easy DIY. This DIY is very inexpensive also, most people have these items in their home or they can be purchased at a dollar store.



What You Need

-  7 paper bags (any color or just plain)
-  scissors
-  hot glue gun



Step 1
   
      Place your paper bag down so the bottom flap is on the table or floor. Take your glue gun and place glue in a T shape going half way up the bag. Make sure not to have any glue at the opening of the bag. Then place the next bag on top facing the same way. Repeat 6 times.



Step 2

Take your scissors and cut the bag so it makes a point at the top.


Step 3

Take your glue gun and make another T with glue. Then unfold the bags and glue the 2 ends together.

       

 Rewind about a week ago, I was walking the streets of central London on my way to Kensington Palace in lovely sunny weather. Now I'm back to reality in a place where its maybe 6 degrees and rainy. London has been a place that I wanted to visit for years, and I still can't believe that I was able to visit there. It might be because it was a fluke that I went because one day my cousin said to me of I really want to go to London, but none of my fiends want to go. My head turned on a swivel and before we knew it we were booking our flights and hotel. I booked this trip almost a year ago and its hard to believe that its been here and gone.
       London is exactly what I thought it would be full of history, architecture, tourists (lol), and friendly people. The only down side was the price. I would give anything to go back. We made a list of the places we wanted to visit and planned out days so we would go to the places in the same area. So we wouldn't waste time running all around central London. This also made it easier so if we knew the places we wanted to visit and if we ran out of time we could possible add it to another day. I was so amazed by the architecture, its nothing like I've seen before it was beautiful.


     Like look at Westminster Abbey its awesome, its a must see. It inside is just breathe taking, I can't even describe it I loved it. There is no picture taking inside, and trust me its hard to resist to take pictures of the inside its just breath taking with all the stain glass and architecture inside.

Don't you just love having a tan during the summer, it gives you a nice glow and a boost of confidence. Well its June and to be honest its been freezing I mean like 5C, come on warm weather. I decided if the sun won't come to me, I'll make it somewhat, so I turned to self tanner. Anybody that knows me knows that me and self tanner aren't friends because I either look like an Oompa Loompa or like I rolled in dirt. I have tried a ton of products like the Jurgen's self tanner booth the new and older formula, both left me orange. I would follow the directions and be streaky and orange. I was ready to throw in the towel and accept my ghostly appearance but I decided to give it one last shot with this product.


 This self tanner is idiot proof, trust me if I can do it anyone can. The mitt that comes with it helps a ton as it helps with the application, so your hands don't turn orange and it makes it easier to buff in the product. Also the color of the product has a little green tint to it which is scary at first but it just means that it won't be orange and as you apply the tanner you can see where you are applying the product which is great so you know you aren't missing spots.


I'm not gonna lie the first time I used it I was a little streaky but that was because I have never used a formula like it before. This product is becoming a staple for  me this summer and gives me a little boost of confidence that everyone needs. I will be repurchasing this product in the full size once I finish this travel size up.
