DIY Cactus Costume
11:00:00 AM Halloween is quickly approaching and I still don't know what to be yet. This costume is great if you are running out of time, or need a quick and easy costume. It took be a maximum of 5 minutes to make this costume from start to finish.
What You Need
What you need: green shirt or dress, headband, glue gun, scissors, white and pink yarn
Cactus Body
For the body of the cactus you need to cut your yarn into 1 inch strips. Group them into 3's and take one string to tie a know. Then glue them randomly around your shirt.
Headband
Take your pink yarn and twist it around your hand to make one loop, and wrap it around about 20 times. Slip the loop off your hand and tie a know around the middle and cut the ends of the loop to make a pom-pom. Take the pom-pom and clue it to your headband.
