The Unwritten Road

  Subscription services are awesome, because you get little samples every month to try. If you like the samples then you can buy full size products. A subscription service I have been using is ipsy, here is my February ipsy bag.


  The theme for this months bag was Pretty in #ipsypink, a cute girly theme as it is February so there is valentines. The theme is shown is the cute make-up bag with the cartoon, envelope with a heart in the middle, the design reminds me of minecraft which I find quite funny.


 Best Face Forever (BFF) daily facial exfoliating scrub. First of all how cute is the name BFF, i think its so sweet, anyways this product  has no paragons, sulphites, dyes or phthalates. It contains peppermint, grapefruit and aloe vera which makes it great at calming your skin.


Chella passionate pink lip pencil. Pencil is very smooth and leaves a nice coral color on your lips.


Paula Dort enhancer in baby eyes. A skin tone eyeliner great for the water line to brighten your eyes, its better than a white eyeliner because it looks more natural.


Luxie 221 flat definer brush. Great for liner or setting eyeliner with a dark shadow.


Smashbox photofinish primer oil. I was the most excited for the product as I love the smash box primer water, so using an oil will be great as i have dry skin.

     Have you ever felt left behind? well recently I feel as if everyone around me has gone so far and yet here I am here in the background. I feel as if everyone that I have gone to school with are now either engaged or married, have their own car and live on there own. What do I have to show? nothing, I still live with my parents, use my parents car and as single as a pringle. I know people do things at there own pace but I feel so left behind, I feel like everyone has grown up so much except myself. I feel as if I'm in a rut, its probably because as i've mentioned in blog posts before that I am a planner, so of course I had a life plan but I am no were near that plan, i'm years behind. When I look at my plan the only thing I have achieved is graduating university. That is a great accomplishment and I am proud of myself for that, just if I had my time back I would of started doing work in my field before graduation so I had some experience. I'm not saying that I regret what I did in school, I like the experience I have and am glad with the places I have worked and the wonderful people I have met, its just not in my field or see myself doing for the rest of my life.
    I'm just unsure how I feel, its all a mix or emotions. One minute I'm happy with what I have achieved and another I wish I would have done more. I'm critiquing my own life and how I feel like i'm in a rut and what I haven't accomplished for someone my age accomplished yet I'm a firm believer in everything happens for a reason. Meaning there is a reason why I haven't moved out yet, bought a car, had a relationship but i'm just harsh on myself. Reading things like at 23 Oprah was fired as a TV Reporter, J.K.Rowling was broke, and Walt Disney had filed for bankruptcy, give me hope that everything will work out just fine.

  Valentines Day is just around the corner, meaning lots of chocolate and candy. My favourite Valentines candy is Sweet hearts, they are just heart shaped candy with cute little sayings on them. Here is a quick, easy and inexpensive valentines DIY inspired by sweet heart candy.



What You Need
♡ card stock (pastel colors)
♡ scissors
♡ white ribbon
♡ whole punch

♡ Step 1 ♡
   I used paint which is on any windows computer, if not you can find a printable anywhere online. I made a heart and in the middle put cute little sayings you would find on sweet heart.
      examples: ur cute, HOT, call me, cutie, LOL, love bug, sweetheart, sweet pea, you rock, true love, be happy, dream, hug me


♡ Step 2 ♡
   Once you print off your sweet hearts cut them out and then hole punch a hole on each side.



♡ Step 3 ♡
   String your ribbon through your hearts to make a banner. You start by stinging the ribbon down in the first hole and then up the second, so the ribbon stays at the back of the heart. Then tie your ribbon at each end.

 As one could say I have the wanderlust bug, traveling is something I have learned to love. I am the type of person who hates change and trying new things, yet somehow I get over this when it comes to going to a new country or city. Over the past few years I have traveled to new countries and places that I never thought I would visit. I love the thought of going somewhere new and seeing new scenery, historic sites, tourist attractions and just getting caught up in the city. I'm by no means a world traveler but some day I'd like to change that. I found it hard to narrow down my top 5 places I want to travel as it changes every day. but here are my top 5 travel destinations I want to visit:


 1. LONDON

       Ever since I was little I've wanted to travel to Europe and to be specific London in particular. I can't pin point it to one reason, but hearing the experiences my friends and family have over there would make anyone want to visit and we can't forget that british accent. Just the sights like Big Ben, the London Eye, Buckingham Palace etc look just breath taking. I can just picture myself there in the spring or summer time walking around London with my friends or family and just taking everything in, going sight seeing and shopping. It doesn't help either that I love taking photos and I can't wait to get my camera out and capture amazing memories there.


 2. DUBLIN

           Dublin has always been on the top of my list of places I want to travel and it is probably because every one calls where I am from little Ireland. I am a geography major and the thoughts of going there and seeing the coastline is just ecstatic. I just love the thought of an irish welcome and walking the cobble streets and not being go, go, go and take the time to enjoy all the history in Dublin.Not to mention I love an Irish accent, but depending on where people are from in Ireland there accents differ, I am curious to see any similarities in our accents and certain sayings we both have.



3. SANTORINI

    Just looking at pictures of Santorini would make anyone want to visit Greece. Just look at the amazing architecture and the crystal blue waters its just breathtaking. The city is basically build on the coast and on the cliffs its just breath taking. I hear that the sunsets there are amazing and would love to see it and capture some amazing pictures. All and all Santorini looks amazing to have a nice relaxing time, down on a beach or walking around the city, taking breathtaking pictures.


4. BORA BORA

     To be honest Bora Bora has only recently been added to the list, mainly because i'm not someone who can just lay on a beach. Imagine though just staying in one of those huts and basically opening your front door and staying on top of the water. The water there is just so clear and is more of an aqua color its just amazing. I can't help but just think at how relaxing and enjoyable it will be just to stay in those huts.


5. OLYMPICS

    This isn't really a destination, its more that I would be traveling for seeing an activity. I love the olympics, whenever the olympics is on either the summer or winter our tv is on 24/7 with the olympics on. I would be happy to see the summer or the winter olympics, it would be great to experience it in person instead of watching it from a tv screen. Like imagine being in the stadium and watching the opening and closing ceremonies, it would be breath taking. While at the olympics also it would be great to explore the county that is hosting the olympics.
