Zoella: Scrubbing Me Softly Review
2:01:00 PM A few months ago I couldn't get to sleep and found myself on the feelunique site. Of course I ended up looking at the Zoella beauty products, since she launched her products i've been wanting to try them. I added a bunch of products into my cart and they arrived about a month later. Out of the products that I have tried os far my favourite product is the scrubbing me softly scrub which was launched with her tutti fruity collection.
I got no idea where to start with this product because i could go on and on because I love it so much, but i'll break it down into sections so you can follow it easy
Packaging
The packaging of the product is just to cute. It is a transparent case with a yellow twist lid and yellow large poka dots. I love how the packaging is transparent so you can see the scrub with the pink beads through the jar. I also love how the writing and everything is in pink as it stands out on the container. You can definitely tell that Zoella put her time and effort into the packaging and of course added a little lace pattern on the label. It wouldn't be Zoella without wither a collar or a bit of lace trim.
Formula
The first time you use this product it might be a little difficult as the scrub is very thick. I found it hard to get my fingers through it but once you use it once it is fine. The formula is a little different than what i'm use to in a scrub but thats what makes it AMAZING. I'm use to a really creamy scrub with only a little bit of exfoliating beads. This product is like a paste, it is very thick with pink scrubbing beads. The beads are the exfoliating bits. The formula is great for all skin types as I have dry sensitive skin I was afraid that the paste might be to harsh but it is just what I need. It doesn't leave your skin irritated, red or dry. It is also great at removing that last little bit of your spray tan.
Also since it is a paste, I find that you need less product than you need, but you learn these things as you go along.
Price/ Where to Buy
This is the only downside I have to this product is that it can be quite hard to get your hands on. If you live in the UK it is sold at Superdrug and I believe is about 7 pounds. But I live in Canada and as far as I know for a lot of people the only place we can purchase it is online. I bought mine off of feel unique as that is where I was recommended, but you can purchase it off amazon now as well. The feel unique site is great as it allows you to change it to your currency so you know how much it is. The scrub is a reasonable price of about $10, the only downside is the shipping can be quite costly, so I would suggest either buying enough to get you free shipping or go in on an order with a few people to lower the cost. The shipping is what I expected, where I live anyways it takes forever for packages to arrive so waiting a month for a package is no big deal for me.
Overall I can't rave about this product enough and I will be repurchasing it in the future.
