I've been seeing water color prints in stores recently so I decided to try it for myself and let me tell you they are just as nice and way cheaper. This DIY allows you to be creative as you want I just did simple prints first to see how they turned out.
What you need
- canvas ( I got mine at Dollarama for $1.25)
- paint
- paint brush
- permanent marker
- paper plate or something to make water color paint
- water
Love this very inexpensive DIY and will definitely be making more of these, they make great gifts also.

Step 1
Make your water color paint. All you need is water, paint and a plate. Just pour paint onto the plate then add water till you get your desired thickness and mix it together.
Step 2
Take the water color paint you just mixed and paint it onto the canvas. You can do whatever pattern you want, I just kind of went with it and just painted and stopped when I thought I had enough paint on the canvas. Then leave it to dry.
Step 3
Choose a quote and take your permanent marker and go mad.
