DIY Glitter and Gold Accent Easter Eggs
11:34:00 AM Easter is just around the corner, meaning spring is quickly approaching. To add a little color to your living space here is a quick and easy Easter Egg DIY.
Glitter Eggs
What You Need
- eggs (either hard boiled or blow out)
- glue
- glitter (color of your choice)
- plate
Step 1
- blow out or hard boil the eggs you are going to use. I blew out the eggs just so they will last longer than hard boiled eggs but its up to you what you want to do.
Step 2
- You will need the glue and your egg. Evenly coat the egg is glue, I found it easier to squirt glue on the egg and spread it out with my finger.
Step 3
- While your egg is still wet from the glue take your plate and glitter and sprinkle glitter over the egg and coat it with the glitter. Shake off the access and leave it to dry.
Gold Accent Eggs

- paint
- paint brush
- gold metallic paint pen
Step 1
- Blow out or hard boil your eggs
Step 2
- Take your eggs and paint them in the color of your choice and leave it to completely dry. Some colors might need 2 coats of paint.
Step 3
- Take your egg thats painted and your metallic gold paint pen and just go mad. You can do what ever design you want, I just did a typical poker-dot pattern and on the other egg I did a gold top and bottom.
